Madeira's punchy trio of sugar cane spirit, lemon and honey — sweet, sharp and deceptively strong.

How to Make It

  1. Stir the honey and lemon juice in a glass until the honey dissolves.
  2. Add the sugar cane spirit.
  3. Work it vigorously with a wooden muddler until frothy and emulsified.
  4. Serve at room temperature or over a little ice.
  5. Garnish with lemon peel.
