Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Subvia handles your information. The app is provided by Volkan Günay (Vomcore). Contact: hello@vomcore.com.

Short version

No account, no sign-up, no password, no advertising, no analytics SDK and no tracking. Subvia shows public statistics about public channels. It never asks you to connect a Google or YouTube account, and it cannot post, comment or subscribe on your behalf.

What is stored on your device

• The channels you track: their public channel IDs, plus the last figures we received for them so the app opens with something on screen when you are offline.
• Preferences: light or dark theme, and whether milestone alerts are on.
• Milestone state: the last milestone already announced for a channel, so the same one is not announced twice.

These live in the app’s own storage on your phone. Deleting the app deletes them. If you turn on the home or lock screen widget, the few lines it shows are copied into a shared container that only Subvia and its widget can read — still on your device.

What our server stores

Subvia’s backend keeps a record per channel, not per person: the channel ID, its public name, handle, avatar URL, subscriber, view and video counts, and one closing subscriber figure per day. That is what makes the day-by-day history possible. It also notes which channel IDs were asked about recently, so the refresh job knows which channels are still worth updating.

There is no user record. The app sends channel IDs and nothing else — no name, no email, no account, no advertising identifier, no device identifier. We do not build a profile, because there is nothing to attach one to.

Logs

When a request fails, the server writes the path that failed and the error, and keeps it for fourteen days so the fault can be fixed. These logs do not contain IP addresses or device identifiers.

Where the data comes from

Channel figures come from the official YouTube Data API v3, operated by Google. Our server makes those calls, not your phone, so Google receives no information about you or your device from Subvia. The list of latest videos comes from the channel’s public RSS feed, and the search ideas come from YouTube’s public autocomplete suggestions. Subvia is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or certified by YouTube or Google.

Subvia does not scrape web pages and does not generate figures. Where a measurement does not exist — a day we never recorded, or a channel that hides its subscriber count — the app shows a dash rather than a zero.

Payments

Subvia Pro is sold as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are handled by the App Store and we never see or store your payment details. Whether your purchase is active is verified through RevenueCat, Inc. using an anonymous identifier that contains no name, email or advertising ID.

Notifications

Milestone alerts are off until you turn them on, and iOS asks for permission at that moment rather than at first launch. They are produced on your device from figures the app already has; nothing is pushed from our server.

Permissions we do not ask for

Subvia does not request the camera, the photo library, contacts, location, the microphone or your health data. It does not ask for tracking permission, because it does not track.

Children

Subvia is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights and contact

Because we hold no account and no personal profile, there is nothing on our side to export, correct or delete; the data is on your device and under your control. Removing a channel from your list removes it from the device. For any question write to hello@vomcore.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new text is published here before the version that relies on it ships.
