Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Solvane handles your information. The app is provided by Volkan Günay (Vomcore). Contact: hello@vomcore.com.

Short version

No account, no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter and no server of ours. Sun and moon positions are computed on your phone. To fetch the cloud forecast, the app sends a rounded location directly to MET Norway — not to us.

Location

If you allow it, Solvane uses your device location while the app is open to compute sun and moon times for where you are. Your location stays on the device. Two things leave it:

• Cloud forecast: latitude and longitude rounded to four decimals (about 10 metres) are sent to the MET Norway Locationforecast service. The request carries the app name and our contact address, as MET Norway requires, and nothing that identifies you.
• Place names: to show a place name for a location, or to find a place you search for, the app uses Apple’s built-in geocoding service, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy.

You can use Solvane without location access by searching for places by name.

What is stored on your device

• Spots: the names and coordinates of places you save.
• Reminders: golden hour reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your phone; no push server is involved.
• Preferences: theme, language and reminder settings.

Deleting the app deletes all of this.

Payments

Solvane Pro is sold as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are handled by the App Store and we never see your payment details. Whether your purchase is active is verified through RevenueCat, Inc. using an anonymous identifier that contains no name, email or advertising ID.

Permissions

Solvane asks for location (while using the app) and, if you turn on reminders, notifications. It does not use the camera, photo library, contacts or microphone, and does not track you across apps.

What we do not do

No advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no tracking pixel, no fingerprinting, no data broker. We do not sell or share data, because we hold none.

Children

Solvane is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights and contact

Because we hold no account and no personal profile, there is nothing on our side to export, correct or delete; the data is on your device and under your control. For any question write to hello@vomcore.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new text is published here before the version that relies on it ships.
