Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Solfeon handles your information. The app is provided by Volkan Günay (Vomcore). Contact: hello@vomcore.com.

Short version

No account, no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter and no server of ours. Your practice history stays on your phone. When you use the microphone, the sound is analysed on the device and is never recorded or sent anywhere.

What is stored on your device

• Practice history: for each note or chord you have been asked, how often you saw it, how often you got it right and how long you took; a daily count of answers and play rounds for your streak and charts.
• Round settings: the clefs, ledger lines, accidentals, inversions and round length you chose for each mode.
• Preferences: theme, language, note naming, answer input, instrument key, octave setting and haptics.

Deleting the app deletes all of this. You can also clear your history in Settings. Nothing is uploaded to us, because we run no server for Solfeon.

The microphone

Solfeon asks for the microphone only when you open “Play it”. While that screen is open, the app reads short slices of sound and estimates their pitch on the device, so it can tell whether you played the note on the staff. The audio is held in memory for a fraction of a second and then discarded. It is not recorded, not stored and not transmitted — not to us and not to anyone else. Listening stops when you leave the screen. You can refuse or withdraw the permission in iOS Settings; every other part of the app keeps working.

Payments

Solfeon Pro is sold as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are handled by the App Store and we never see your payment details. Whether your purchase is active is verified through RevenueCat, Inc. using an anonymous identifier that contains no name, email or advertising ID. This is the only network connection the app makes.

Permissions

Apart from the microphone described above, Solfeon does not request the camera, photo library, contacts, location or notifications, and does not track you across apps.

What we do not do

No advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no tracking pixel, no fingerprinting, no data broker. We do not sell or share data, because we hold none.

Children

Solfeon collects no personal information from anyone, of any age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your rights and contact

Because we hold no account and no personal profile, there is nothing on our side to export, correct or delete; the data is on your device and under your control. For any question write to hello@vomcore.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new text is published here before the version that relies on it ships.
