How can I turn a ChatGPT answer into flashcards on iPhone?
Share the answer to Recalvo from the iOS share sheet (or paste it). Recalvo uses Apple Intelligence on the iPhone to write question-and-answer cards, lets you check them, and then schedules reviews with FSRS spaced repetition.
Does Recalvo send my notes to a server?
No. Card generation uses Apple's on-device Foundation Model, and PDF and photo text is read with Apple's on-device text recognition. Recalvo has no account and no server of its own; only purchases go through Apple and RevenueCat.
Which iPhones can generate cards with Apple Intelligence?
AI card generation needs an Apple Intelligence capable iPhone (iPhone 15 Pro or later) on iOS 26 with Apple Intelligence turned on, in a language Apple Intelligence supports. On other iPhones you can still paste Q:/A: or term — definition lines and review them with FSRS.
What is FSRS?
FSRS (Free Spaced Repetition Scheduler) is a modern open-source spaced-repetition algorithm. It estimates how stable each memory is and schedules the next review just before you are likely to forget the card.
