Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Mirepoix handles your information. The app is provided by Volkan Günay (Vomcore). Contact: hello@vomcore.com.

Short version

No account, no sign-up, no advertising, no crash reporter and no server of ours. The whole recipe collection ships inside the app, so it opens and works in flight mode. Anything you save stays in the app’s own storage on your phone. Only the purchase check and a few usage counts, described below, go online.

What is stored on your device

• Saved recipes: which sauces, dishes and technique lessons you bookmarked — stored as their identifiers, nothing else.
• Your notes: the free text you type against a recipe.
• Preferences: metric or imperial, theme, and the interface language if you override the system one.

These are written to the app’s private storage. Deleting the app deletes them. None of it is uploaded.

Payments

Mirepoix Pro is sold as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase; the yearly plan starts with a three-day free trial. Purchases are handled by the App Store and we never see or store your payment details. Whether your purchase is active is verified through RevenueCat, Inc. using an anonymous identifier that contains no name, email or advertising ID.

Permissions we do not ask for

Mirepoix does not request the camera, the photo library, contacts, location, the microphone or notifications. It does not read your files. Cook mode keeps the screen awake while it is open and releases that as soon as you leave it.

Usage counts

To understand how the app is used and improve it, Mirepoix sends RevenueCat a few values tied to the same anonymous identifier: what opened the Pro screen (and, when it was a recipe, that recipe’s identifier in the built-in collection) and how many times it has opened; and the date you first opened a locked recipe preview, how many locked previews you have opened and which kind of lock you met first. They never include your notes or your list of saved recipes. These counts are not linked to your identity, are not used for advertising and are not sold.

What we do not do

No advertising SDK, no tracking pixel, no fingerprinting, no data broker. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Children

Mirepoix is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights and contact

We hold no account and no personal profile; your data is on your device and under your control. The only things kept on our side are the anonymous purchase record and the usage counts at RevenueCat; to have them deleted, write to the address below (the record is anonymous, so we may ask for your App Store receipt to find it). Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new text is published here before the version that relies on it ships.
