This policy explains how Elyaz handles your information. The app is provided by Volkan Günay (Vomcore). Contact: hello@vomcore.com.
Short version
Your handwriting, your documents and everything you type stay on your phone and are never sent to a server. No account is required, and the app works without an internet connection.
What is stored on your device
- Your handwriting samples: the letters you draw on screen, or the stroke data extracted from a photo of a printed template sheet.
- Document contents: the recipient, name, optional ID number, address and message you enter.
- Preferences: theme and language.
None of this is transmitted to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Camera and photo access
Camera and photo access is requested only when you choose to write the template on paper and photograph it, and only at that moment. The photo is processed on your device and never uploaded. If you decline, you can still use the app by drawing letters on screen.
Payments
Subscriptions are handled by the App Store and Google Play. We never see or store your payment details. Whether your subscription is active is verified through RevenueCat, Inc. using an anonymous identifier that contains no name, email address or phone number.
Usage counts and advertising
Elyaz shows no ads, collects no advertising identifier and uses no third-party ad network. To understand which steps work, the app attaches a few anonymous usage counts to the same RevenueCat record that checks your subscription: whether you finished the welcome screens; how many times you opened the template list and the new-document form, and the first template you opened; how many times you chose to write your own text, and from where; how many documents you completed, the first template you used and the document language; how many previews you opened and whether they used your own handwriting or a ready-made one; how many screenshots were taken while a preview was on screen (the screenshot itself is never read); how many times you tapped Download and the ink and paper you chose; whether your handwriting set is empty, partial or complete; and how many times the Pro screen opened, with what opened it the first time and most recently. These counts contain no name, no document text, no handwriting and no ID number, are not linked to your identity, are not used for advertising and are not sold. Nothing you write is collected.
Use of AI
Elyaz composes letters from built-in templates and the fields you fill in. Your text is never sent to any AI service.
Your rights
Your documents and handwriting live only on your device, so you delete, correct and export them directly from the app. The only record kept elsewhere is the anonymous subscription record and the usage counts at RevenueCat; to have them deleted, write to the address below (the record is anonymous, so we may ask for your App Store receipt to find it). Children
Elyaz is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes. Significant changes are announced in the app.
