Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Cabinora handles your information. The app is provided by Volkan Günay (Vomcore). Contact: hello@vomcore.com.

Short version

No account, no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics SDK and no server of our own. Your collection, its photos and its details stay on your iPhone and, only if you turn on iCloud sync, in your own private iCloud database. Photos are analysed on the device; nothing is uploaded to us or to any AI service. The only other network use is verifying purchases.

Camera and photos

Cabinora asks for the camera when you photograph a piece or scan a barcode, and lets you pick a picture from your photo library through the iOS picker. Each photo you add is copied into the app’s own storage. Apple’s Vision framework runs on the iPhone to separate the object from its background, read the printed text and detect a barcode. On devices with Apple Intelligence, Apple’s on-device model may be used to sort the read text into label fields; this also happens on the device. You can change camera and photo permissions in iOS Settings at any time.

What is stored on your device

• Your collection: collections, pieces, the photos and cut-outs you add, the fields you fill in (such as series, number, year, barcode, the price you paid, the date you got it and your notes) and your wishlist.
• Preferences: whether iCloud sync is on, the sync position, whether you have finished the first-run screens and the collection type you picked there.

Deleting the app removes everything on the device.

iCloud sync (optional, Pro)

If you turn on iCloud sync, your collection and its images are stored in the private CloudKit database of your own iCloud account, so your other iPhones signed in to the same Apple Account can show them. This data is held by Apple under your iCloud account and Apple’s privacy policy; we cannot see or access it. Turning sync off stops it; data already in your iCloud can be removed in iOS Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Storage.

Export

CSV and PDF export (Pro) create a file on the device and open the iOS share sheet; where the file goes is your choice.

Payments

Cabinora Pro is sold as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are handled by the App Store and we never see your payment details. Whether your purchase is active is verified through RevenueCat, Inc. using an anonymous identifier that contains no name, email, photo, location or advertising ID.

What we do not do

No advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no tracking pixel, no fingerprinting, no data broker, no tracking across apps. We do not sell or share your data, and we do not use your photos to train anything.

Children

Cabinora is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights and contact

We hold no account and no personal profile, so there is nothing on our side to access or delete; your data is on your device and, if you chose sync, in your own iCloud. For any question, write to hello@vomcore.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new text is published here before the version that relies on it ships.
