What is a collection tracker app?
A collection tracker is a catalog for the things you collect: each piece gets a photo and details such as series, number, year and condition, so you know what you own, what you still want and what you paid. Cabinora builds the entry from a photo: it cuts the object out, reads its label and places it on a shelf.
How do I avoid buying the same collectible twice?
Keep every piece with its barcode in one catalog and check before you buy. In Cabinora you scan the barcode on a box and it tells you whether the piece is already on your shelves or on your wishlist; if it was on the wishlist, one tap moves it to owned.
Does Cabinora tell me what my collection is worth?
No. Cabinora has no market price data, so it makes no value estimate. You can record the price you paid for each piece, and a collection shows the total you spent.
Can I catalog Lego sets, vinyl records, coins or watches?
Yes. When you create a collection you choose its kind, and the label fields follow it: set number and piece count for building sets, artist, label and catalog number for vinyl, country, denomination and mint for coins, model and reference for watches. You can add your own fields with Pro.
Is Cabinora free?
The free version holds one collection with up to 50 pieces, including photo cataloguing and the barcode check. Pro, a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase, adds unlimited collections and pieces, iCloud sync, custom fields and CSV and PDF export; the yearly plan starts with a 3-day free trial.
