Yieldra is a financial calculator for iPhone. Time value of money works with the N, I/Y, PV, PMT and FV keys, CPT and 2ND, P/Y and C/Y set separately and BGN/END mode, and all five registers stay on screen so a wrong entry shows before you compute. Is there a financial calculator app for CFA and FRM exam practice on iPhone?
Yieldra uses the key layout of the exam-approved financial calculators (N, I/Y, PV, PMT, FV, CPT, 2ND) so you can practice the same keystrokes, and it keeps all five TVM registers on screen. It is a study and planning tool; exam halls only allow the physical calculators.
How do I calculate a mortgage payment with a financial calculator?
Set P/Y to 12, then enter N = 360, I/Y = 6.5, PV = 400000, FV = 0 and press CPT PMT. Yieldra returns −2,528.27: the monthly payment, negative because it is money you pay.
How do I find NPV and IRR on iPhone?
Open the cash flow worksheet in Yieldra, enter CF0 and the following flows with their frequencies, set the discount rate I, and read NPV, IRR, NFV and payback; the NPV profile shows where NPV crosses zero at the IRR.
Can Yieldra price a bond and compute accrued interest?
Yes. Enter the settlement and redemption dates, coupon rate, redemption value, day count and coupon frequency; Yieldra solves price from yield or yield from price and shows accrued interest and modified duration.
