Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Verdia handles your information. The app is provided by Volkan Günay (Vomcore). Contact: hello@vomcore.com.

Short version

No account, no advertising, no analytics SDK. The only thing that leaves your phone is the photo you ask Verdia to analyze, and it is sent only to get you an answer.

Photos you analyze

When you identify a plant or run a health check, the photo is sent over an encrypted connection to our relay server (Amazon Web Services, Frankfurt) and forwarded to the Pl@ntNet identification service (CIRAD, France), which returns the result. Our relay does not store the photo and does not write it to logs. Pl@ntNet processes the image under its own terms of use. The request contains the photo, the plant part you selected and your language — no name, email, location or advertising identifier.

What is stored on your device

• My plants: the plants you add, their photo, the watering interval and the dates you watered them.
• Preferences: theme and reminder state.

This data never leaves your phone. Deleting the app deletes it.

Permissions

• Camera: to take the photo you want analyzed.
• Photos: only the single picture you pick from the system photo picker.
• Notifications: watering reminders and the free-trial reminder. They are scheduled on the device; no push server is involved.

Payments

Verdia Pro is a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase handled by the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Whether Pro is active is verified through RevenueCat, Inc. using an anonymous identifier that contains no name or email.

Children

Verdia is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
