What Does Dreaming of a Mouth Mean?
Traditional Interpretation
According to traditional interpretation (Ibn Sirin, Nabulsi, Jafar al-Sadiq), the mouth is considered the beginning and end of affairs, the source of provision, and the seat of one's words and influence. A large, sweet-smelling mouth may point to abundance and to effective, beneficial speech, while a closed, bound, or vanished mouth may be interpreted as illness, silence, or hardship.
Psychological View
In modern psychology, the mouth can represent the power of expression, words spoken or suppressed, and, according to Freud, early (oral) needs, trust, and gratification. The mouth in a dream may be a sign of how freely one expresses oneself, or of the things one "cannot say."

A Large Mouth

Conversely, it may point to scarcity of provision and anxiety over making a living.
