Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Skyvane handles your information. The app is provided by Volkan Günay (Vomcore). Contact: hello@vomcore.com.

Short version

No account, no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter and no server of ours. Skyvane does not ask for your location, camera, contacts or any other permission.

Weather requests

To show a report, the app asks the Aviation Weather Center of the U.S. National Weather Service (aviationweather.gov, NOAA) for the METAR, TAF and runway data of the airport codes you saved or opened. The request contains those airport codes and a generic app identifier; like any web request it reveals your IP address to that service, which handles it under its own policy. It contains no name, account, location or advertising ID.

What is stored on your device

• Your airports: the list of saved airports and which one is home.
• Personal minimums and units: crosswind, ceiling and visibility limits, and unit choices.
• Last reports: the most recent weather and runway data, so the app can show them offline with their age.
• Preferences: that you finished the first-run screens.

Deleting the app deletes all of this. Nothing is uploaded to us.

Payments

Pilot Pass is sold as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are handled by the App Store and we never see your payment details. Whether your purchase is active is verified through RevenueCat, Inc. using an anonymous identifier that contains no name, email, location or advertising ID.

What we do not do

No advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no tracking pixel, no fingerprinting, no data broker, no tracking across apps. We do not sell or share data, because we hold none.

Children

Skyvane is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights and contact

Because we hold no account and no personal profile, there is nothing on our side to export, correct or delete; the data is on your device and under your control. For any question write to hello@vomcore.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new text is published here before the version that relies on it ships.
