Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Shotnest handles your information. The app is provided by Volkan Günay (Vomcore). Contact: hello@vomcore.com.

Short version

No account, no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics SDK and no crash reporter. Shotnest has no server of its own. Your screenshots, the text read from them and your folders stay on your iPhone.

Photo library access

Shotnest asks for access to your photo library so it can show and organize your screenshots. It only lists items that iOS marks as screenshots; other photos and videos are not read. You can grant access to all photos or only to selected ones, and change this at any time in iOS Settings. Screenshots are deleted only when you choose to delete them, and iOS asks you to confirm every deletion.

Text recognition and AI

The text inside each screenshot is read with Apple’s on-device text recognition (Vision). Screenshots are sorted onto shelves by on-device rules and, on supported iPhones, by Apple’s on-device Foundation Model (Apple Intelligence), which also writes the optional summaries. This processing happens on the device; Shotnest does not upload your screenshots or their text to us or to any AI service.

What is stored on your device

• Reading results: the recognized text of each screenshot and the shelf it was sorted onto.
• Folders: the folders you create and which screenshots are in them.
• Preferences: whether you have finished the first-run screens.

Deleting the app removes all of this. Your screenshots themselves stay in the Photos app.

Payments

Shotnest Pro is sold as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are handled by the App Store and we never see your payment details. Whether your purchase is active is verified through RevenueCat, Inc. using an anonymous identifier that contains no name, email, screenshot content or advertising ID.

What we do not do

No advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no tracking pixel, no fingerprinting, no data broker, no tracking across apps. We do not sell or share your data.

Children

Shotnest is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights and contact

We hold no account and no personal profile, so there is nothing on our side to access or delete; your data is on your device and deleting the app removes it. For any question, write to hello@vomcore.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new text is published here before the version that relies on it ships.
