What the app does

Reactia plays stored chemical reactions on a simulated bench: you choose two reagents and it shows the balanced equation, the colour change, the precipitate, the gas, the flame and the temperature change recorded for that reaction. It also contains guided experiment cards and a periodic table of 118 elements. Every record was written and checked by a person; the app never generates chemistry on its own, and when two reagents do not react it says so.

Safety — read this part

• The app is a simulator and a guide, not permission. Seeing a reaction on a screen does not mean you may run it.
• Experiments marked for the laboratory are not for your kitchen. They assume trained supervision, proper ventilation, eye protection and correct disposal.
• Children should experiment only with an adult present.
• The safety notes are a summary, not a safety data sheet. Before handling any chemical, read the supplier’s SDS and follow the law where you live. Never mix substances that are not part of a card you are following, and never mix bleach with acids or ammonia.
• Timings on the bench are sped up. Reactions that take hours or days in reality are compressed for display; the card tells you the real duration.
• You are responsible for what you do off the screen. We are not liable for injury, damage or loss arising from an experiment you carry out.

Accuracy

Reaction records, equations, element properties and observations are taken from published chemistry and checked against it, but errors are possible. The app is an educational aid, not a reference for professional, clinical or industrial decisions. If you find a mistake, tell us and we will correct the record: hello@vomcore.com.

Reactia Pro: subscriptions and lifetime

The whole periodic table, the at-home experiments and the free reagent shelf are free and stay free. The remaining reagents, the reactions they make and the laboratory experiments are part of Reactia Pro, offered as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription — the yearly one may start with a 3-day free trial — or as a one-time lifetime purchase that never renews.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. If you start a free trial, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. Payment is charged to your App Store account; you manage or cancel a subscription in that account’s settings. The price is shown in the store before you confirm. Refunds are handled by the store and we are not a party to them.

Your content

Your discovery log belongs to you and stays on your device. We claim no rights over it and cannot read it.

Acceptable use

The app’s content is licensed to you for personal and classroom use. Do not decompile the app, extract its data set for redistribution, or resell the content as your own.

Limitation of liability

The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
