Is there an iPhone app for searching PubMed?
Yes. Paperwell is a PubMed client for iPhone that accepts the full PubMed query syntax, including field tags such as [tiab], [mh] and [au], and filters for reviews, meta-analyses and randomized controlled trials.
How can I get alerts for new PubMed articles on my phone?
Save a query in Paperwell as a saved search. Each time you open the app it checks PubMed and shows how many new articles have appeared since you last looked.
Can I read saved PubMed articles offline?
Yes. Articles saved to Paperwell's Library, with their abstracts, your notes and attached PDFs, open without a connection.
Does Paperwell need an account?
No. There is no account and no Vomcore server; searches go directly to the U.S. National Library of Medicine's public E-utilities service.
