Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Gridnord handles your information. The app is provided by Volkan Günay (Vomcore). Contact: hello@vomcore.com.
Short version
No account, no sign-up, no advertising, no analytics SDK and no crash reporter. Gridnord has no server of its own. Your location and saved points stay on your iPhone.
Location
If you allow it, Gridnord reads your location only while the app is open (“While Using the App”) to show your coordinate and accuracy and to measure distance and bearing to a point. It is used on the device only; Gridnord never sends your location to us or to anyone else, and it does not use location in the background.
What is stored on your device
- Saved points: the name, latitude, longitude and time of each point you save.
- Preferences: your default MGRS precision and whether you have finished the first-run screens.
Deleting the app removes all of this.
Map
The map view uses Apple Maps (MapKit). To draw the map, your iPhone loads map tiles for the area on screen from Apple, which handles them under its own privacy policy.
Spoken readout, copy and export
The NATO radio readout is spoken by the iPhone’s own text-to-speech voice on the device. Copying puts the coordinate on your clipboard; the Convert screen reads the clipboard only when you tap Paste. GPX and CSV exports and shared coordinates are created on your iPhone and passed to the iOS share sheet only when you choose; where they go next is your choice and is handled by the app you pick.
Payments
Gridnord Pro is sold as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are handled by the App Store and we never see your payment details. Whether your purchase is active is verified through RevenueCat, Inc. using an anonymous identifier that contains no name, email, location or advertising ID.
What we do not do
No advertising SDK, no analytics SDK, no tracking pixel, no fingerprinting, no data broker, no tracking across apps. We do not sell or share your data.
Children
Gridnord is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights and contact
We hold no account and no personal profile, so there is nothing on our side to access or delete; your data is on your device and deleting the app removes it. For any question, write to hello@vomcore.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new text is published here before the version that relies on it ships.
