Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Crabwise handles your information. The app is provided by Volkan Günay (Vomcore). Contact: hello@vomcore.com.
Short version
No account, no sign-up and no advertising. Flight calculations stay on your device. RevenueCat validates purchases, provides subscription analytics and receives a few anonymous usage counts. Crabwise does not ask for your location, camera or contacts.
What you type
The numbers you enter (airspeeds, headings, winds, weights, temperatures) are used on the device to work out the answer. They are not sent to us or to anyone else.
What is stored on your device
- Preferences: app appearance, completion of the first-run screens and the counter used to time the system review request.
- Offline Pro access: the expiry date of your last verified subscription, or whether a verified lifetime purchase is active. This status is refreshed when purchase information becomes available.
These settings are kept in the app’s local storage. Calculator inputs and results are not uploaded to a server operated by us or sent to RevenueCat.
Payments
Crabwise Pro is sold as a weekly, monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Purchases are handled by the App Store and we do not receive your payment card details. RevenueCat, Inc. processes purchase history and an anonymous app user identifier to validate purchases, restore access and provide subscription analytics. We do not provide RevenueCat with your name, email address or advertising identifier.

Usage counts
To see which calculators lead people to Pro, the app sends RevenueCat a few values tied to the same anonymous identifier: for each Pro calculator, the date you used its one free result; which calculator last showed a locked result; and which calculator last opened the Pro screen. They never include the numbers you type or the results. These counts are not linked to your identity, are not used for advertising and are not sold.
What we do not do
We do not use advertising SDKs, tracking pixels, fingerprinting or cross-app advertising tracking. We do not sell your data. Purchase information is processed by Apple and RevenueCat as described above; we do not run a separate app usage analytics or crash reporting SDK.
Children
Crabwise is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your rights and contact
The app has no account or personal profile. Local calculator data and preferences are under your control on your device. For questions or requests about your information, including subscription records and usage counts processed through RevenueCat, write to hello@vomcore.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it and the new text is published here before the version that relies on it ships.
