What the app does

Petralens offers visual suggestions about rocks and minerals from photos. Results can be wrong or incomplete. A photograph cannot confirm a specimen’s identity, chemical composition, authenticity, origin, or value. Do not rely on a result for a purchase, safety decision, or scientific determination.

Free and Pro

Your first photo analysis is free. Pro provides further analyses, with a limit of 15 scans per day per installation to keep the service available. Your saved collection stays on your device.

• Weekly, monthly, and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage them in your Apple Account settings.
• The yearly plan offers a 7-day free trial to eligible Apple Accounts. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the yearly price shown before purchase is charged.
• Lifetime is a one-time purchase with no free trial. The daily service limit also applies to lifetime access.

Apple shows the current local price before purchase and handles payment and refunds. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies.

Restoring purchases

Use Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account to recover eligible purchases. Local photos and results are not transferred to a new device by the purchase restore process.
