Gillid is provided by Volkan Günay (Vomcore). Questions: hello@vomcore.com.
When you choose a photo or take one, Gillid reads it on your iPhone to suggest possible fish species. The model runs on the device. Gillid does not upload the selected image, the model result, or your photo library to our server. The photo picker may keep a local copy in the app cache until iOS clears it or you delete the app. Gillid does not create a cloud account or a server-side photo history.
Camera access is requested only when you choose to take a photo. Photo library access is used only when you choose a photo. You can change these permissions in iPhone Settings.
Gillid has no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, crash reporter, tracking pixel or account sign-in. We do not sell or share your selected photo or a personal profile.
Gillid offers an optional Pro purchase. Apple processes payments. RevenueCat manages purchase status and receives purchase history linked to a randomly generated anonymous app user ID, along with the locale and currency needed to manage subscriptions. Gillid does not send your fish photos or model results to RevenueCat. You can restore purchases in the app.
Gillid is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information.
You can remove the app and its local data by deleting it from your iPhone. We have no Gillid account or photo record to export or delete. To ask about purchase records associated with your anonymous app ID, or for other questions, email hello@vomcore.com.
If the app’s data practices change, we will update this page and its date before releasing the version that uses those changes.
